Neocron Setup Info
------------------

Thank you for downloading Neocron Beta 4. The installer has been optimized to work with multiple
CD-ROMs, this means that when you are installing from a HD-drive you have to follow these simple
instructions to get it all up and running. Basically there are two ways to install Neocron:

A) Maximum Install
------------------
If you are going for a "Maximum Install", then you have to copy the file 'terraincd.dat' and the file
'terrain.pak' to the root directory of your C: drive. Once you've done this, launch the file
'Neocron_Beta4_Setup.exe'. Choose "Maximum Install". The Setup will now create a working Neocron
client in the directory you indicated. It will also place a Neocron icon on your desktop. You may now
delete the files 'Terraincd.dat' and 'terrain.pak' from your C: drive's root directory (since they
have been copied to the Neocron directory you selected).

B) Minimum Install
------------------
In this case you can have the huge file 'terrain.pak' on a CD-ROM, which you only need to insert when
you actually play Neocron. Put the files 'terrain.pak' and 'terraincd.dat' on CD-ROM (root dir). Now
launch 'Neocron_Beta4_Setup.exe' and select 'Minimum Install'. Setup will now create a Neocron folder
which allows you to play. However, whenever you play the game, make sure that the CD-ROM with
'terrain.pak' and 'terraincd.dat' is in your CD-ROM drive.


Create Your Neocron Account
---------------------------
After you'Ve installed Neocron successfully, please go to http://www.neocron.com and create your game
account (Account/Create). Follow the instructions on the screen. Once you have your username and pass-
word, click on the Neocron icon on your desktop. You will now have to enter the server IP of the
Neocron game server. The IP for Beta 4 clients is: 62.140.29.53. Then click on 'Play Neocron'. The
program will now check for available patches and will download them. Simply follow the instructions on
the screen and launch Neocron. Have fun! :)
